Overall Personality: Alita is for the most part very quiet. She spends her time wandering around and investigating things that peak her curiosity. She's very much aware of her charm and beauty and uses them as her greatest strength. She's deceptive and cunning, though her aquatic instincts prevent her from noticing her surroundings. Alita has a sharp tongue and is quick witted. She's bitter and distrusts all those around her. She has no friends on land, only few acquaintances, but that's how he prefers to keep it.

History: Alita was born on the shore of of a far off beach. She is a half-sister to over 2,000 other mermaids. She grew up in the care of her older sisters and was raised under the watchful eye of Poseidon, her father. She chose as a child to be educated and grew up learning from her smarter sisters how to read and write. Alita studied the history of her people and the history of humankind. Animosity towards the land-dwellers grew within her as she aged.
The whereabouts of her mother is unknown, as Poseidon has many lovers, and all of his children belong exclusively to him. Poseidon has always been weary of those who dwell on land, and constantly sends scholars to keep an eye on what goes on on the shore. Few merfolk chose an educated life, so when push came to shove, he chose to send Alita to go forth on land to gather information.
Alita begrudgingly accepted and emerged onto land. She traveled to several towns and slept on the outskirts, making shelter for herself. She saw no need for a hotel, seeing as her people did not believe in money or luxuries such as hotels, so instead she'd be resourceful and make her own temporary bed. She acquired small amounts of clothing and resources from shops or things she found laying around.
During the day she walks through town and observes the behavior of the people around her. Her distaste for humanity has only grown harsher during her stay on land.

The character looks good and does follow much of the rules I've requested. Just remember that your father, Poseidon, is not a God or anything like that. Just a man who happens to be the leader of the Mermaid people, or something along those lines. It won't matter too much luckily!
